Sorry for the spelling,It is french food that i love to eat and i am not sure the spelling.I know how to say but not to write.Sorry again.This food is mixed with meat,such as ham,smoked saussage,smoked pork and a lot more,it depends on what you envy.This what i love her in France because there is a lot of foods that are new for me but that are so good.But sad to say that i don't know how to cook french foods but i really love to learn.

You've got the spelling right, just need to run it all together: choucroute. Not something I've attempted to make either, I think you have to cure the cabbage for several weeks (not my style). Here's a recipe for aFrench stew, called a potee that you might like. It has that cabbage and pork thing going on and is very easy to put together. Cheers.
